Change management

Organizations don't change, people do!

Successful change processes are based on the fact that every single individual is aligned. A pitfall in many changes is that we put too much focus on the technical side and group perspective and spend too little time on what the change means at the individual level. It increases the risk of resistance.

Some change processes tend to take too long, do not arrive at goals, do not produce the changes and returns expected, etc. It is rarely due to the "technical side" but rather entirely to the "human side" - the employees involved are not fully involved. easy.

ADKAR is a structured way of measuring and ensuring that the important employees are really involved. Every part of ADKAR can be measured. The results show where, and in which groupings, there may be gaps that may need to be addressed specifically. Many of the larger companies, both nationally and internationally, use it to secure successful change processes.

The abbreviation ADKAR represents five parts:

Awareness - awareness

Desire - commitment / will

Knowledge

Ability - Ability

Reinforcement - reinforcement

The ADKAR model is a framework for understanding the dynamics of change at the individual level. By using this understanding as a basis, the model can be expanded to handle change work within all types of organizations. It is intuitive and easy to absorb. The model is based on many years of study.
